History of our company
KTC International s.r.o. was founded in 1991, is based on Czech capital, and has been closely linked to wood since its inception. In its early years, the company focused on the export of joinery and construction timber, finished wood products, and panel materials such as MDF, plywood, DTD, and fiberboard.
It gradually expanded its portfolio to include the import of high-quality tropical woods—merbau, meranti, meak, iroko, wenge, ayous, and sauna cuts with abachi—and became a stable partner for manufacturers and craftsmen.However, 2020 brought a major turning point. After the death of its original founder, the company lost its direction and its development slowed down.
Our history is the story of a Czech company that grew up working with wood, expanded its portfolio to include high-quality materials from around the world, and became a reliable partner for professionals in the field.
A new direction
In 2021, the company suffered the loss of its founder, which led to a decline in activity and weakened long-term development. A new impetus came in 2025, when new management took over the company. It brought a clear vision, energy, and a desire to build on strong roots. Together with the entire team, they managed to restore stability, strengthen the quality of services, and return the company to the dynamism on which its reputation was built.Today, KTC International continues the tradition it began more than three decades ago—while moving forward with a modern approach and a new strategy.
The arrival of new management paved the way for a modern vision and new energy for the company. Together with the team, we restored stability, strengthened the quality of services, and built on more than thirty years of tradition, which is leading us to further growth.
